Networking for Restaurant Audit Professionals

The National Restaurant Association's Internal Auditors Executive Study Group exposes its members to the increasing diversity of financial roles in the restaurant industry. The group, comprised of internal auditors from chain restaurants that belong to the National Restaurant Association, generally meets in March and September every year.

Internal Auditors Study Group meetings provide informal, open and flexible forums to discuss a wide range of topics of interest to the field. These may include:

• Point of sale systems • Internet security • Automation of the audit function

• Crisis management • International franchise auditing

In addition these semiannual meetings the group is starting up a listserv for its members. As an attendee to the Internal Auditor group meeting your e-mail will be added to the listserve allowing you to have access to your peers throughout the year to discuss issues that are relevant to you now.
